GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Since New Year's Eve at 6 p.m., South Carolina Department of Public Safety has increased patrols in Rock Hill to help keep roads safe, and this effort will continue through January 4 + a campaign urges responsible driving during the celebrations. Here Rock Hill
- ➤ New studies show that I-95, I-85, and I-77, which runs through Rock Hill, have high accident rates and local leaders will soon propose safety upgrades to improve travel for businesses + commuters. Officials plan to work with state agencies to develop measures in the coming months. Here Rock Hill
- ➤ Rock Hill experienced traffic adjustments after the E Robertson Road bridge over Wildcat Creek closed on Monday, Dec. 29 for essential repairs near South Pointe High School. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) redirected motorists onto Neely, Crawford, and Ogden Roads as the project continues and is expected to finish in June. Here Rock Hill
- ➤ Governor Henry McMaster declared January as Interfaith Harmony Month at the close of last year to celebrate our diverse faiths across South Carolina.
