Good morning, Rock Hill.

Monks walking across the country visited Rock Hill Tuesday evening at Catawba Baptist Church, where thousands gathered to offer flowers and blessings during their peace walk.

They will rest in town before continuing their 2300-mile journey to Fort Mill and Charlotte.

Rock Hill homeowners can assess and reinforce their roofs by checking for missing shingles, flashing, and leaks (using quality sheathing and waterproof underlayment).

Regular maintenance and expert consultation will boost energy efficiency and property value.

Winthrop Eagles will host the High Point Panthers at Winthrop Coliseum today at 6:30 p.m. EST — the Eagles have an 11-8 record and will try to end a five-game losing streak as the Panthers hold a strong 16-3 record in the Big South Conference matchup.
