  • Kayla Tapley has been without her 2023 Kia K5 for over three weeks after Kia recalled the vehicle on Dec. 22 for fuel tank safety concerns, leaving her with no clear transportation or information. Kia later provided a loaner and sent a letter offering repurchase with added reimbursement of *$3200*.  WSOC-TV

HEALTH NEWS

  • Piedmont Medical Center’s EMS earned national accreditation Wednesday — making it only the fourth ambulance service in the state. It now serves 700 square miles in York County and partners with agencies to help over 300,000 residents.  WSOC-TV

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Winthrop University Eagles track and field teams are competing today in the Tryon College Banked Invitational at the Tryon International Indoor Complex in Mill Spring, North Carolina, with track events starting at 8:45 a.m. + about 50 teams participating as they return after strong performances at the Tryon Winter Classic.  Here Rock Hill
