  • There is a Come-See-Me Festival kicking off today in York County that will run until April 12 and include over 60 events such as the parade, Mayor's Frog Jump Contest, and the tailgate party — fireworks extravaganza expected to draw over 100,000 visitors. CULTURE NEWS

  • Michelin Guide announced its expansion to showcase the best restaurants in the Carolinas on Wednesday — its anonymous inspectors have already been making dining reservations across the region. The full 2025 restaurant selection will be revealed later this year.  WSOC-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Rock Hill Planning Commission voted unanimously Tuesday to recommend rezoning 215 acres at 2394 Eden Terrace from a commercial master plan to general industrial use—this may also lift design restrictions on a nearby 4.92 acre site and aims to attract a major economic development project. City Council will vote on the proposal on April 14.  WCCB Charlotte
  • Rock Hill officials are reviewing plans for a 200-acre property located between I-77 and Mount Gallant Road—land once planned for the Carolina Panthers’ facility—that has remained unused since 2022 after team owner David Tepper walked away from an $800 million project; the City Council will vote on rezoning the site for industrial or commercial use on April 14.  Queen City News
