- ➤ Cederick Dion Dixon, 38, of Fort Mill, was sentenced to over seven years in federal prison—87 months in jail and three years of court-ordered supervision—after a January 15 traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm, ammunition, and drugs in his vehicle while his status as a convicted felon made his possession illegal. - ➤ Elected officials in York and Lancaster Counties are paid very different salaries based on the size and scope of their local governments — Rock Hill officials receive the highest pay with the mayor earning $28,023.84 and each council member $17,844.32 while Tega Cay officials earn as little as $6,000 and $3,600 respectively.
