  • On June 26, veteran Jesse Bosnak, a 37-year-old former Marine, received a fully paid 2025 Toyota Cross from the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Heroes program—marking the first donation of this model. The vehicle, provided through a partnership with a local Toyota dealership and Wells Fargo's mentoring efforts, will help his family improve mobility and assist with his wife’s job search.  Here Rock Hill

  • Elisie’s, a new speakeasy on Main Street, opened today in a historic building that once was a five-and-dime store and now honors the civil rights legacy of the Friendship Nine.   • Elisie’s, a new speakeasy honoring local civil rights history, opened today at 135 E. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Starting this fall, the South Carolina DMV will no longer issue same-day driver’s licenses, permits, and IDs to fight identity fraud—residents will apply in person and receive a temporary paper valid for 30 days while their new card is mailed within 7 to 15 business days, with full implementation by the end of September.  WRHI
