- ➤ Former York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson faced charges after his vehicle veered off Airport Road in Rock Hill on Sunday, July 13, hit a telephone pole and a fence and then fled the scene, with authorities booking him on Monday on counts of striking fixtures and failing to report the crash — the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating further.
