Six Flags Entertainment, which owns Carowinds (a 400-acre park near the local border), will move its corporate headquarters to Arlington, Texas next year.
The company said the decision came after a review aimed at improving operations.
🎓 Education
Dr. Shelia Quinn, superintendent of Clover Schools since 2018, announced her retirement and the Board of Trustees began searching for her replacement at a Monday night meeting (her retirement date is yet unconfirmed).
Quinn helped open three new schools this month and will assist with the transition.
