- ➤ An artist known for creating Disney Traditions and Heartwood Creek folk art figurines bought a building at 109 Hampton Street in downtown Rock Hill’s historic district for $1.4 million, and Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys joined him at a press conference on August 26 while the 22,000-square-foot property will become the Jim Shore Museum Experience and Gift Shop opening next year.
