Good morning, Rock Hill.

Representative Ralph Norman from Rock Hill has called for impeachment articles against Solicitor Byron Gipson today over his handling of the May murder of Logan Federico, a case that has prompted strong criticism over communication with the victim’s family and the treatment of habitual offenders. Gipson has stated that his office maintained regular contact with the Federico family — a claim that has not eased public demands for accountability in the judicial system.

The Herald announced the nominees for the High School Athlete of the Week Poll today, naming standout athletes like Libba Faircloth in cross-country, Jamol Horton in football, and Lillian Rivers in golf — all of whom have shown strong skills and dedication in recent competitions.
