  • Renowned artist Jim Shore brought holiday cheer to Rock Hill on December 2 with his handcrafted Christmas miniatures from his Heartwood Creek collection, available at local stores and online. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Rock Hill schools experienced declines in enrollment across all six districts even as the local population grew; Clover district saw numbers drop from 9,038 to 8,987 students last year. In response, the Rock Hill School District will launch a pilot Open Enrollment Program for high school students this fall — an effort aimed at attracting new families amid a decade-long 13% decline.  Here Rock Hill
  • Rock Hill has launched a culinary training program today to help adults in poverty learn essential cooking and life skills — a program run by York Technical College and the Pathways Community Center.
