Since New Year's Eve at 6 p.m., South Carolina Department of Public Safety has increased patrols in Rock Hill to help keep roads safe, and this effort will continue through January 4 + a campaign urges responsible driving during the celebrations.

Governor Henry McMaster declared January as Interfaith Harmony Month at the close of last year to celebrate our diverse faiths across South Carolina.

The month-long observance will include events such as an interfaith youth panel discussion in Rock Hill on Jan. 25 (a key community gathering).
