- ➤ Tartan Residential secured $32.3 million in construction financing for the Johnston Farms development— a 120-unit workforce housing project in Rock Hill aimed at renters earning 50% to 80% of the area median income. The project, which includes a $23.5 million HUD loan and reserves 10% of units for combat-disabled veterans, will open in the second quarter of 2027 with amenities like a community center and energy-efficient features. - ➤ Rock Hill is set to see the redevelopment of an abandoned storefront purchased for $190,000 by Southern Street Development and vacant for five years; the 1947 building will be converted into office space on the first floor and a new second floor added.
